Museum District

As its name suggests, Houston’s Museum District encompasses a number of museums and other cultural and entertainment community venues. A selection includes The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the Contemporary Arts Museum, the Museum of Natural History, the Children’s Museum, the Holocaust Museum, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, Hermann Park, Miller Outdoor Theatre, the Houston Zoo, and Burke Baker Planetarium.

Boundaries are approximate and generally accepted as Montrose Boulevard/Main Street on the west, Hwy 59 on the north, N. MacGregor Way to the east, and Hwy 288 to the south.
